Programme Director (Programme Manager/Multi-Project Manager) – London – To £140k + Significant Package and Bonus

Peracto’s client, a dynamic powerhouse trading technologies vendor dealing with Tier 1 Investment Banks, is seeking an experienced Programme Manager or Heavyweight Multi-Project Manager to join their high quality team and take a leading role within the organisation. This is a UK based role that has a global remit which may involve some travel depending on the needs of the organisation.

This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take on a key leadership role, this will involve managing and coordinating large teams of up to 80 employees which include programme managers, project managers and specialist technology groups. As a Programme Director you will take charge of large and often complex projects that can span over 2-3 years, during this time the successful candidate will need to review and approve proposals, provide qualified project managers, take responsibility for team retention, and also develop project management standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a global organisation that is at the top of its game.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Must have demonstrable experience delivering solutions/services/IT into investment banking end users.
• Previous experience working within Capital Markets IT.
• A successful record in organising and managing large scale projects/programmes.
• Proven working experience in leading teams (senior management exposure).
• Previous working experience of implementing project management methodologies.
• A PMP, Prince2 or similar certification would be desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Project Enterprise or other project and portfolio management tool would also be desirable.

• Ability to effectively plan to achieve both individual and organisational goals.
• Strong team player who works effectively with others.
