Risk Systems Implementation Consultant – London – £55k-£70k

Peracto’s client, a high performance integrated real-time risk management solution, is seeking a Risk Systems Implementation Consultant to join their highly skilled and exciting team.

As a Risk Systems Implementation Consultant, your role will include taking responsibility for the implementation of the risk management solution, this will mean a high level of client contact in order to best understand the needs of the client. You will also have extensive knowledge of the solution in order to identify and recommend the best-fit solutions within the existing functionality and capabilities of the risk management solution.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (i.e. Mathematics, Economics, Financial Engineering or Computer Science).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a credit or market risk environment in the financial market or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets (e.g. derivatives, credit, economic and regulatory capital etc…) and analytics (e.g. HS VaR, MC VaR, financial modelling etc…).
• Knowledge of credit and portfolio credit risk systems, the credit cycle and the process of implementation.
• Strong commercial awareness, excellent client facing skills and interpersonal skills.
• High competence in delivering product presentations and managing client workshops and proof of concepts.
• Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• Relevant technical skills:
o .NET (VB, C#)
o SQL – SQL Server
o General development technologies tools

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be a self-starter who is self-motivated and requires minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic about solving technical problems of any kind.
• Ability and willingness to work on site with clients as well as independently or in small teams.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.
• Enthusiasm to maximise available opportunities for development by attending relevant training courses; and self-study to keep up to date with the developments relevant to the business.
